What is a Technology Advisor?
A Technology Advisor is a consultative partner who helps organizations design, buy, implement and support telecom, voice, wireless and managed services across many suppliers. At Nimbl Networks, advisors advocate for your IT, procurement and finance teams from the first design conversation through day-two support.
How is working with Nimbl Networks different from going directly to a supplier?
Suppliers build and run the services, and going direct works well when you know exactly what you need from one of them. An advisor adds a view across many suppliers, engineering input on design before any supplier is engaged, and an advocate who stays with you through negotiation, rollout and support. Many customers work with both.
Which services does Nimbl Networks cover?
We advise on telecom transport (Dedicated Internet Access, broadband and bandwidth aggregation), mobility (business wireless programs across the major U.S. carriers), UCaaS and CCaaS, SASE (SD-WAN, SSE and ZTNA) and cybersecurity, along with related managed services, cloud and data center. We maintain relationships with hundreds of suppliers across these categories.
When should we bring in an advisor?
Earlier is better. The most valuable moments are before a network refresh, before an RFP or RFI goes out, and well ahead of a contract renewal, when design choices and negotiating leverage are still open. We also help mid-project and after go-live.
What do carrier legacy service retirements and copper retirement mean for my organization?
Carriers are retiring legacy copper-based services over time and moving customers to fiber, wireless and other alternatives. Timing and impact vary by service and location. We help you identify which lines and circuits may be affected, then plan and manage the transition. Our Copper Retirement Readiness Checklist is a good place to start.
How much does it cost to work with Nimbl Networks?
There is no cost to you for working with Nimbl Networks. The easiest way to see how that works is a 30-minute meeting, where we walk through exactly how it works for an organization like yours, with no pressure and no obligation.
What support do we get after a service goes live?
We stay involved. Nimbl Networks acts as an escalation resource once technology is in production and provides expense management reporting covering inventory, billing accuracy and contract monitoring, so renewals and re-negotiation are planned well ahead.
