How we work

Design, Negotiate, Implement, Support.

Nimbl Networks is a technology advisory firm based in Dallas, Texas, that helps multi-site organizations design, negotiate, implement and support telecom and managed services. Here is what happens at each stage, and what you have in hand when it’s done.

A 30-minute conversation, at no cost to you. We’ll show you how it works.

The four stages

One advocate, start to finish.

The same four steps in every practice area. Suppliers deliver and bill the service; we design, negotiate, implement and support as your advocate.

  1. 01

    Design

In-house engineering produces a high-level design before any supplier is engaged.

What you have in handA requirement defined around your needs, not a supplier’s catalog.

  2. 02

    Negotiate

We run RFPs, RFIs and negotiations across many suppliers, and we know how well each one actually executes.

What you have in handLeverage, a broader perspective, and clarity on the trade-offs.

  3. 03

    Implement

Project-management advisory during rollout. We act as your advocate with the supplier until it is live.

What you have in handFewer surprises, accountability, and an on-plan go-live.

  4. 04

    Support

An escalation resource in production, plus expense management reporting: inventory, billing accuracy, contract and renewal monitoring.

What you have in handIssues resolved faster, billing errors caught, renewals planned well ahead.

Who does what

You keep the decisions. We do the legwork.

You keep

  • Every decision, at every stage
  • Your supplier relationships, if you have good ones
  • Your contracts, signed directly with the supplier
  • Your IT, procurement and AP teams, with less on their plate

We bring

  • Engineering input before any supplier is selected
  • A view across hundreds of suppliers and how they perform
  • Project advocacy during rollout
  • Escalation support and expense reporting after go-live

It isn’t either/or. Many of our clients work directly with their suppliers every day and bring us in when a decision is big, complex or time-sensitive.

Advisory at no cost to you.

FAQ

Questions about working together.

When should we bring in an advisor?

Earlier is better. The most valuable moments are before a network refresh, before an RFP or RFI goes out, and well ahead of a contract renewal, when design choices and negotiating leverage are still open. We also help mid-project and after go-live.

Do you replace our IT team?

No. We extend it. You keep the decisions and your supplier relationships; we bring the market visibility, do the legwork and stay on as your advocate, as an extension of your IT, procurement and accounts payable teams.

What support do we get after a service goes live?

We stay involved. Nimbl Networks acts as an escalation resource once technology is in production and provides expense management reporting covering inventory, billing accuracy and contract monitoring, so renewals and re-negotiation are planned well ahead.
